Job descriptions & requirements

Responsibilities:

Sales & Business Development:

  • Identify and pursue new sales opportunities for:
  • Solar power systems
  • Inverters and batteries
  • Generators and backup power solutions
  • Air conditioning and HVAC systems
  • Smart TVs, home appliances, and electronics
  • Engineering and maintenance services
  • Generate leads through field prospecting, referrals, networking, and partnerships.
  • Meet and exceed monthly sales targets.
  • Develop and maintain relationships with homeowners, businesses, developers, architects, contractors, and facility managers.

Technical Consultation:

  • Conduct site inspections and energy assessments.
  • Understand customer power and energy requirements.
  • Recommend suitable solar, inverter, HVAC, and electrical solutions.
  • Prepare quotations, proposals, and product presentations.
  • Explain technical specifications and product benefits to clients.

Customer Relationship Management:

  • Follow up on leads and inquiries promptly.
  • Maintain a strong pipeline of prospects.
  • Ensure excellent customer experience throughout the sales process.
  • Coordinate with installation and technical teams to ensure successful project delivery.

Market Intelligence:

  • Monitor market trends and competitor activities.
  • Gather customer feedback and report management insights.
  • Identify emerging opportunities in residential, commercial, and industrial sectors.

Requirements:

  • HND/B.Sc. in: Electrical/Electronic Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or Physics/Electronics.
  • Marketing with strong technical sales experience.
  • 1–3 years of experience in sales, technical sales, solar sales, engineering services, or electronics sales.
  • Experience in solar, inverter, HVAC, electrical, or power solutions is an added advantage.
  • Strong sales and negotiation skills.
  • Good understanding of solar and electrical systems.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills.
  • Ability to prepare quotations and proposals.
  • Strong customer relationship management skills.
  • Self-motivated and target-driven.
  • Ability to work independently in the field.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and CRM tools is an advantage.

Key Performance Indicators:

  • Monthly sales revenue generated.
  • Number of new customers acquired.
  • Conversion rate of leads to sales.
  • Value of solar and electronics projects closed.
  • Customer retention and repeat business.
  • Achievement of monthly and quarterly sales targets.

Benefits: Attractive Commission

Remuneration: NGN100,000
