Field Research Intern

Field Interviews & Data Collection:

• Conduct structured interviews with transport operators and stakeholders across Kubwa, Bwari, Dutse, Dei-Dei, Ushafa and surrounding communities, following an assigned quota
• Administer a structured questionnaire accurately and consistently for every respondent
• Record all responses promptly using Google Forms or a data collection tool provided during onboarding

Reporting:

• Submit daily progress updates to the People & Programs team, including interviews completed, locations covered, and any issues encountered
• Submit all completed survey forms and data at the end of each week for review
• Prepare a short written summary of observations at the end of the engagement

Conduct & Professionalism:

• Engage respectfully and professionally with operators, park officials, and community stakeholders at all times.
• Represent Hadi Finance credibly in the field and adhere strictly to the interview protocol provided during onboarding

Requirements:

• Currently serving as an NYSC corps member and residing within Kubwa, Bwari, Dutse, Dei-Dei, Ushafa or surrounding communities
• Fluent in both Hausa and English, spoken fluency in Hausa is mandatory
• Comfortable approaching and engaging transport operators, fleet owners, and park officials directly in open environments
• Own a smartphone with reliable data access, required for digital data collection
• Good interpersonal and communication skills; able to work independently in the field with minimal supervision and to report efficiently.
• Available full-time for the one-month duration of the assignment
• Prior fieldwork, survey, or customer-facing experience is an advantage.
