Responsibilities:
Site Operations & Project Monitoring:
- Conduct routine visits to project sites to monitor construction progress, quality of work, and adherence to project timelines.
- Inspect project sites to ensure compliance with approved specifications, company standards, and health and safety requirements.
- Identify site challenges, delays, or operational issues and promptly escalate them with appropriate recommendations.
- Monitor the activities of contractors, artisans, and vendors to ensure work is completed efficiently and to the expected standard.
- Verify that work completed aligns with project plans and management expectations.
Project Coordination:
- Serve as the liaison between the office, project sites, contractors, consultants, and suppliers to ensure effective communication and coordination.
- Follow up on project milestones and ensure assigned tasks are completed within agreed timelines.
- Verify the delivery of construction materials and ensure they meet approved specifications and quantities.
- Support project managers with day-to-day operational and administrative activities.
Site Inspections & Reporting:
- Prepare daily, weekly, and monthly site inspection reports highlighting project progress, challenges, and recommendations.
- Capture photographs and maintain accurate documentation of site activities and project milestones.
- Report incidents, delays, quality concerns, and safety issues promptly to management.
- Maintain accurate records of site visits, contractor performance, and project updates.
Client & Stakeholder Engagement:
- Accompany prospective clients, investors, and management on property inspections and site visits where required.
- Provide accurate updates on project progress and respond professionally to site-related enquiries.
- Build and maintain positive working relationships with contractors, consultants, suppliers, and other stakeholders.
Compliance & Health & Safety:
- Ensure project sites comply with company policies, operational procedures, and applicable health and safety standards.
- Report unsafe practices, operational risks, or compliance issues and follow up to ensure corrective actions are implemented.
- Promote good housekeeping and adherence to safety procedures across all project sites.
General Responsibilities:
- Represent Generis Villas professionally during site visits and stakeholder engagements.
- Support other operational and administrative duties as assigned by Management.
- Perform any other duties required to support the successful delivery of projects.
Requirements:
- National Diploma (ND) or higher in Estate Management, Building Technology, Civil Engineering, Quantity Surveying, Project Management, Business Administration, or a related field.
- Minimum of 1 year of relevant experience in field operations, site supervision, project coordination, construction, or real estate operations.
- Previous experience in the real estate or construction industry is an added advantage.
- Must be willing to work fully on-site from 9:00 AM – 6:00 PM, Monday to Friday.
- Must be willing to travel regularly between the Oniru office and project sites within the Lekki axis.
- Familiarity with the Lekki and surrounding areas is an added advantage.
Skills & Competencies:
- Strong organisational and time management skills.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Strong attention to detail and problem-solving abilities.
- Ability to prepare clear and accurate reports.
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook).High level of integrity, professionalism, and accountability.
- Ability to build and maintain positive working relationships with contractors, clients, and other stakeholders.
Remuneration: NGN150,000 Gross Monthly
