Job descriptions & requirements
Responsibilities:
- Visit markets, retail outlets, wholesale businesses, and other potential customers to promote and sell company products.
- Identify new customers and business opportunities within assigned territories.
- Present company products, explain their benefits, and communicate pricing to prospective customers.
- Generate sales orders and work towards assigned sales targets.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with existing and prospective customers.
- Follow up with customers to encourage repeat purchases and long-term business relationships.
- Monitor competitors' products, pricing, and activities within assigned markets.
- Provide regular reports on sales activities, customer feedback, market opportunities, and challenges.
Requirements:
- Minimum educational qualification: SSCE/WAEC or equivalent.
- Previous experience in sales, field marketing, retail sales, wholesale sales, or a related customer-facing role is required.
- Experience selling to traders, retailers, wholesalers, or distributors is an advantage.
- Good communication, negotiation, and persuasion skills.
- Ability to identify prospective customers, generate sales, and build lasting business relationships.
- Self-motivated, proactive, and comfortable working in a field-based sales environment.
- Willingness to travel within assigned markets and work towards sales targets.
