Job descriptions & requirements
Responsibilities:
- Lead the preparation of financial statements in compliance with IFRS and local regulations.
- Oversee day-to-day financial operations and accounting processes.
- Develop and manage annual budgets, forecasts, and financial plans.
- Monitor financial performance and provide actionable management insights.
- Ensure strict compliance with tax regulations, statutory requirements, and internal policies.
- Manage audits (internal and external) and ensure timely resolution of audit findings.
- Strengthen internal control systems to safeguard company assets.
- Analyze financial risks and implement effective risk mitigation strategies.
- Supervise finance team operations and provide mentorship.
- Collaborate with senior management to support strategic decision-making.
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting
- Professional certification (e.g., ICAN, ACCA)
- 3-5 years of experience as an accountant.
- Proficiency in accounting software, Microsoft Office excel and QuickBooks.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
- High level of integrity and attention to detail.
- Strong organizational and time management skills.
- Age Range between 30-45
- Must be living around Igbogbo, Oreyo, Ebute, and Igbe-Laara in Ikorodu, Lagos, & Environment.
Remuneration: NGN500,000 - 600,000
Location: Ikorodu
Working hours: Monday - Friday, 7:30 am-7 pm.
