Fashion Store Manager

Responsibilities:

• Oversee the day-to-day operations of the fashion store to ensure smooth and efficient business activities.
• Ensure the store is clean, organized, and visually appealing at all times.
• Open and close the store in accordance with company procedures.
• Implement and maintain company policies, operational standards, and security procedures.
• Monitor store performance and ensure operational excellence.
• Drive sales performance by achieving daily, weekly, monthly, and annual sales targets.
• Develop and implement strategies to increase customer traffic and revenue.
• Promote new arrivals, seasonal collections, and promotional campaigns.
• Analyze sales trends and recommend strategies to improve store performance.
• Maximize sales opportunities through upselling and cross-selling techniques.
• Recruit, train, supervise, and motivate sales associates and store staff.
• Prepare staff schedules and assign daily responsibilities.
• Monitor employee performance and provide coaching and performance feedback.
• Foster a positive, collaborative, and customer-focused work environment.
• Ensure customers receive exceptional service and personalized shopping experiences.
• Handle customer complaints and resolve issues professionally.
• Build long-term customer relationships to encourage repeat business and referrals.
• Stay updated on fashion trends and provide styling advice where appropriate.

Inventory & Merchandising:

• Monitor stock levels and coordinate inventory replenishment.
• Conduct regular stock counts and inventory reconciliation.
• Ensure attractive visual merchandising and proper product displays.
• Minimize stock losses through effective inventory control and loss prevention measures.
• Prepare daily, weekly, and monthly sales and operational reports.
• Manage store expenses and ensure cost-effective operations.
• Oversee cash handling, banking, and daily sales reconciliation.
• Ensure compliance with company policies, health and safety standards, and retail procedures.

Requirements:

• Minimum of an OND in business administration, marketing, retail management, or a related field.
• Proven years of experience in retail management, preferably in the fashion, apparel, footwear, or lifestyle industry.
• Proven experience leading a retail team and achieving sales targets.
• Strong leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
• Excellent customer service and relationship management abilities.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and Point-of-Sale (POS) systems.
• Strong organizational, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced retail environment.
