Farm Supervisor

Responsibilities:

• Supervise the daily operations of the animal farm.
• Ensure animals are properly fed, watered, handled, and cared for.
• Monitor animals regularly for signs of illness, injury, or unusual behaviour.
• Maintain proper hygiene and cleanliness within animal housing and farm facilities.
• Assist with administering basic animal health care and treatments where required.
• Keep accurate records of animal feeding, health, medication, mortality, and other farm activities.
• Supervise farm workers and assign daily tasks.
• Ensure that feeding schedules and other farm routines are properly followed.
• Monitor the condition and availability of animal feed, medication, equipment, and other supplies.
• Report sick animals, unusual incidents, losses, or operational challenges to management promptly.
• Ensure compliance with proper animal-handling and farm safety practices.
• Support the owner/management in improving farm productivity and animal welfare.
• Perform other farm-related duties as assigned.

Requirements:

• Minimum of 1–2 years' practical experience handling and caring for animals.
• Must have studied animal health, animal science, veterinary-related studies, or another relevant animal health course.
• Good knowledge of animal feeding, handling, hygiene, and basic animal health management.
• Ability to supervise workers and coordinate daily farm activities.
• Must be responsible, observant, hardworking, and able to work independently.
• Must be willing to work on a farm and handle animals as part of daily responsibilities.
