Farm Manager

Responsibilities:

• Developing and implementing farming plans, including schedules for planting, harvesting, and livestock care, as well as managing crop and pasture land.
• Recruiting, hiring, training, scheduling, and supervising farm workers, contractors, and seasonal labor.
• Managing the budget, maintaining detailed financial records, conducting sales, and purchasing inputs like seeds, fertilizer, and, in some cases, negotiating with buyers.
• Scheduling the maintenance, repair, and replacement of farm machinery, vehicles, and equipment.
• Adhering to government regulations, environmental standards, and health and safety laws to protect workers and the environment.
• Monitoring soil health, managing irrigation systems, and controlling pests and diseases.

Requirements:

• Minimum of BSc qualification.
• 4 years of previous experience in a similar role.
• Must be a graduate of a prestigious University.
