Responsibilities:
- Oversee the daily operations and overall activities of the factory.
- Develop and implement production plans to meet organisational targets.
- Ensure efficient use of factory resources, equipment, and manpower.
- Monitor production processes to ensure products meet established quality standards.
- Supervise factory supervisors, production workers, and other operational staff.
- Ensure production targets, deadlines, and operational objectives are achieved.
- Monitor inventory levels, raw materials, and finished goods.
- Implement measures to reduce production costs, waste, and operational inefficiencies.
- Ensure compliance with health, safety, and environmental regulations.
Requirements:
- BSc in a relevant discipline with experience in manufacturing or factory operations.
- Strong leadership and staff management skills.
- Good organisational, problem-solving and record-keeping abilities.
- Ability to monitor production, equipment maintenance and quality control.
- High integrity and accountability.
