COPEN is a multidisciplinary real estate firm dedicated to building lives and structures, with a foundational presence in Enugu State. To maintain the value and functionality of our completed residential estates and corporate properties, we are seeking an experienced Facility Manager. The Facility Manager will oversee the daily operations, maintenance, security, and management of our commercial buildings and residential estates in Enugu. Your core objective is to ensure a safe, clean, and fully operational environment for residents and tenants while optimizing operational costs.

Job descriptions & requirements
Responsibilities:
- Estate Maintenance: Coordinate routine, preventive, and emergency repairs for all estate infrastructure (roads, drainage, water supply systems, and central generators).
- Vendor & Contractor Management: Supervise external service providers, including waste management teams, landscaping crews, and technicians.
- Security Oversight: Manage estate security personnel and systems to ensure a secure living environment.
- Service Charge Administration: Manage billing, collection, and budgeting of estate service charges and utility bills.
- Resident Relations: Act as the primary point of contact for residents and tenants, addressing complaints promptly.
- Regulatory Compliance: Ensure all facilities comply with local environmental, health, safety, and building regulations in Enugu State.
Requirements:
- Minimum of an HND in Estate Management, Facilities Management, Building Technology, Civil Engineering, or a related discipline.
- Minimum of 4 years of experience managing residential estates or commercial properties.
- Professional membership with NIESV or IFMA (International Facility Management Association) is an advantage.
- Knowledge of mechanical, electrical, and plumbing (MEP) systems, alongside proficiency in facility management tools or MS Office.
- Interpersonal skills, conflict resolution, and vendor negotiation abilities.
