Responsibilities:
Facility Management & Building Operations:
- Supervise and monitor the activities of the outsourced Facility Management company to ensure all services are delivered efficiently and in line with agreed standards.
- Oversee the maintenance and operation of all building systems, including HVAC, electrical, plumbing, fire safety systems, elevators, generators, STP, water treatment systems, and other MEP installations.
- Conduct routine inspections of the building and common areas to ensure proper functionality, cleanliness, safety, and maintenance standards are maintained.
- Review maintenance schedules, reports, and preventive maintenance activities submitted by the Facility Management company.
- Coordinate and follow up on repairs, maintenance requests, and emergency response activities.
- Monitor utility consumption and recommend cost-saving initiatives for energy and operational efficiency.
- Ensure compliance with health, safety, environmental, and statutory regulations within the facility.
- Liaise with contractors, vendors, service providers, and regulatory agencies when necessary.
- Evaluate vendor performance and ensure adherence to service level agreements (SLAs).
Administrative Responsibilities:
- Prepare and maintain facility-related records, reports, and documentation.
- Provide updates on facility operations and ongoing projects.
- Manage tenant/occupant complaints and ensure timely resolution of issues.
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering, Building Services, Facilities Management, Estate Management, or any related field.
- Minimum of 4 years’ relevant experience in Facility Management, Building Services, or Property Operations.
- Prior experience working in an MEP contracting or consultancy firm is mandatory.
- Strong technical knowledge of building services systems and facility operations.
- Ability to interpret technical drawings and maintenance reports.
- Experience supervising outsourced facility management providers and contractors.
- Good understanding of preventive and corrective maintenance practices.
- Strong administrative, organizational, and reporting skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities effectively.
Preferred Requirements:
- Knowledge of health and safety regulations.
- Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities.
- Ability to interpret technical drawings and maintenance reports.
- Professional certifications in Facility Management or Engineering will be an added advantage.
