Facility Manager
Job summary
The Facility Manager will be responsible for the overall management, maintenance, and smooth operation of a high-end residential property. The successful candidate will ensure that all building systems, utilities, and facilities are functioning efficiently while maintaining a safe, clean, and comfortable living environment for residents.

Responsibilities:
- Maintenance & Operations: Inspect properties regularly to identify repair needs and coordinate both routine upkeep and emergency repairs.
- Vendor Management: Negotiate and oversee service contracts for custodial, security, landscaping, and specialized maintenance.
- Health & Safety Compliance: Ensure buildings meet all local safety, environmental, accessibility, and fire codes.
- Budgeting: Develop and monitor facility budgets, track project expenses, and identify cost-saving initiatives.
- Space Management: Coordinate office reconfigurations, relocations, and new building construction or renovation projects.
- Team Leadership: Supervise on-site maintenance staff, janitorial crews, and outside contractors.
Requirements:
- OND or Higher National Diploma (HND) in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Civil Engineering, Facilities Management, or a related discipline.
- Minimum of 3 years of experience managing residential, commercial, or mixed-use properties.
- Proven experience operating and maintaining water treatment plants, boreholes, water pumps, and related systems.
- Strong practical knowledge of electrical systems, including generators, power distribution, and backup power infrastructure.
- Experience managing preventive maintenance programmes and building services.
