We are looking to hire a Facility manager to join our team.

Responsibilities:
- Oversee the day-to-day operations and maintenance of all assigned properties and facilities.
- Develop, implement, and monitor preventive and corrective maintenance programs to minimize downtime and asset deterioration.
- Conduct regular facility inspections and condition assessments to identify risks, defects, and improvement opportunities.
- Supervise maintenance staff, technicians, and external service providers to ensure quality service delivery.
- Coordinate and manage service contracts, vendor performance, and contractor compliance with scope, timelines, and safety standards.
- Enforce health, safety, and environmental (HSE) standards across all facilities and maintenance activities.
- Maintain central oversight of all visa and travel operations via real-time dashboards.
- Prepare and manage facility maintenance budgets, ensuring cost efficiency without compromising safety or quality.
- Support the transition of properties from construction to operational use, ensuring systems are properly commissioned and documented.
- Prepare periodic reports on facility condition, maintenance activities, safety compliance, and improvement initiatives.
- Other responsibilities as assigned by management.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree or diploma in Facility Management, Engineering, Building Services, or a related discipline.
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in facility management, building operations, or maintenance roles.
- Experience in managing complex building systems is an advantage.
- Ability to manage maintenance teams, contractors, and service providers.
- Excellent organizational, supervisory, and communication skills.
- Ability to manage multiple facilities and priorities effectively.
- In-depth understanding of health, safety, and environmental regulations.
- Problem-solving and decision-making skills in operational and emergency scenarios.
- Strong attention to detail, accountability, and a commitment to quality and safety.
- Ability to plan, track, and optimize the lifespan and performance of building assets, equipment, and infrastructure to reduce downtime and long-term costs.
- Ability to manage expectations, communicate service updates, and maintain positive relationships with tenants, occupants, and internal stakeholders.
- Practical working knowledge of HVAC systems, power distribution, generators, elevators, water supply, drainage systems, and fire protection systems.
- Hands-on understanding of maintenance planning, fault diagnosis, work order management, and root-cause analysis to minimize downtime.
- Working knowledge of occupational health and safety regulations, fire safety procedures, risk assessments, emergency response planning, and site safety compliance.
- Familiarity with applicable building regulations, environmental standards, and statutory inspections required for operational properties.
- Working knowledge of Computerized Maintenance Management Systems (CMMS), asset registers, inventory tracking tools, and operational reporting system.
Remuneration: NGN 200,000 - 250,000
Location: Ikoyi, Lagos
Work Hours: 9 am - 5 am; Monday - Friday
