Facility Manager

Responsibilities:

Operations & Maintenance

• Ensure the facility is always clean, safe, and welcoming for members.
• Supervise cleaners and maintenance staff, setting schedules and monitoring performance.
• Oversee daily inspections of gym spaces, bathrooms, equipment, and utilities.
• Manage procurement of supplies (tissue, cleaning products, toiletries, etc.) and ensure stock levels are maintained.
• Handle minor repairs and coordinate with contractors for major repairs or upgrades. Standards & Systems
• Uphold Sweatbox standards for cleanliness, organization, and service delivery.
• Create and enforce systems/checklists to track daily cleaning, maintenance, and safety protocols.
• Ensure all equipment is functional, well-maintained, and serviced on schedule.
• Monitor electricity, water, and fuel usage; report any inefficiencies.

Vendor & Contractor Management

• Source, negotiate, and manage relationships with vendors, suppliers, and contractors.
• Track all outsourced services (security, waste management, repairs, etc.).
• Ensure timely delivery of goods and services while maintaining quality.

Administration & Reporting

• Maintain accurate records of facility operations, expenses, and maintenance logs.
• Provide weekly reports to management on facility issues, expenses, and improvements.
• Work closely with management to anticipate and address facility needs

Requirements:

• Minimum of 2 years of experience
• Minimum of a BSc.
