Facility Manager
Job summary
The Facility Manager will oversee the day-to-day operations and maintenance of Sweatbox Lagos to ensure the gym runs smoothly, safely, and at the highest standard. This role requires a proactive, detail-oriented professional who can manage people, processes, and resources effectively.

Responsibilities:
Operations & Maintenance
- Ensure the facility is always clean, safe, and welcoming for members.
- Supervise cleaners and maintenance staff, setting schedules and monitoring performance.
- Oversee daily inspections of gym spaces, bathrooms, equipment, and utilities.
- Manage procurement of supplies (tissue, cleaning products, toiletries, etc.) and ensure stock levels are maintained.
- Handle minor repairs and coordinate with contractors for major repairs or upgrades. Standards & Systems
- Uphold Sweatbox standards for cleanliness, organization, and service delivery.
- Create and enforce systems/checklists to track daily cleaning, maintenance, and safety protocols.
- Ensure all equipment is functional, well-maintained, and serviced on schedule.
- Monitor electricity, water, and fuel usage; report any inefficiencies.
Vendor & Contractor Management
- Source, negotiate, and manage relationships with vendors, suppliers, and contractors.
- Track all outsourced services (security, waste management, repairs, etc.).
- Ensure timely delivery of goods and services while maintaining quality.
Administration & Reporting
- Maintain accurate records of facility operations, expenses, and maintenance logs.
- Provide weekly reports to management on facility issues, expenses, and improvements.
- Work closely with management to anticipate and address facility needs
Requirements:
- Minimum of 2 years of experience
- Minimum of a BSc.
