Facility Engineer

• Manage maintenance and repairs of building systems like lighting, electrical, mechanical, plumbing, roller shutters, HVAC, etc.
• Handle all renovation and fit-out projects of the company’s stores, office and warehouse using light gauge steel joists, gypsum finishing etc.
• Coordinate third-party contractors for specialized repairs and facility improvements.
• Effective management of budgets and Inventory/project resources; tracking maintenance expenses and optimizing spare parts inventory.
• Use AutoCAD to design, update, and manage floor plans, fixture placements, and traffic flow diagrams for renovation/ fit-out projects.
• Compile project specifications and supervise tendering procedures.
• Ensuring adherence to project timelines and quality standards.
• Maintaining accurate digital documentation of facility blueprints, as-built drawings, and equipment maintenance logs.
• Energy Management; optimize power usage and LED retrofits to lower the high utility overhead typical of retail footprints.
• Ensure compliance with local building codes, occupational health and safety regulations, and environmental standards.
• Carry out all other engineering-related duties assigned by the Line Manager.

Requirements:

• A minimum of 3 years of experience
• A minimum of a degree in a related field
