Job Description/Requirements
Responsibilities:
- Overseeing and ensuring the security and safety of the Company’s facilities: storage locations, offices, restaurants, production sites and processing ateliers.
- Conducting property maintenance of the Company’s facilities, and managing any improvement works to them.
- Maintaining a well-controlled safe environment for Guests, staff members and visitors at the Company's facilities.
- Protecting and maximising Company assets, both in and around the Company’s properties, as well as conducting asset management of all equipment in these locations.
- Ensuring a continuously organized and tidy environment at the Company’s facilities, and ensuring fire safety at these locations.
- Verifying, inspecting and controlling goods in and out of the Company’s facilities.
- Proactively implementing and managing processes, systems and routines, and taking the lead in reacting swiftly and efficiently to any operational matters that arise.
- Maintaining the Company’s facilities at the very high standard that is expected by Guests, staff members and visitors, ensuring that the Company can be fully confident in the operation of the business at all times.
Requirements:
- Demonstrable Project Management experience, with the ability to stakeholder manage, organise and forward plan the delivery of small and large facilities management projects to completion.
- Actively contribute to creating a friendly, welcoming and safe environment for all Guests, staff members and visitors.
- Friendly, outgoing and personable.
- Maintain professional composure and confidence during stressful situations.
- Customer focused with a hands-on, can-do, nothing-is-too-much attitude.
- Meticulous and highly organised.
- Hands-on approach to work and strong time management skills.
- Keen to excel.
- Work well under pressure to make smart, well-reasoned decisions quickly, sometimes with incomplete information, and under tight deadlines and pressure.
- Flexible and adaptable.
- Work cohesively, inspire others and communicate well as part of a team.
- Computer literate with the ability to understand animated drawings, layout and designs of Company assets.
- Possess a good command of the English language, and strong communication skills with key stakeholders and groups at all levels including external contacts.
- Credibility and gravitas with the ability to establish trust and respect with Guests, staff members and visitors.
- Can speak, read and write any of the main indigenous languages in Nigeria: Yoruba, Igbo or Hausa.
Remuneration: NGN 100,000 per month
