Job summary
We are seeking a Sales Executive in the shipping industry who is responsible for generating business opportunities, securing cargo bookings, and building strong relationships with clients. The role focuses on promoting shipping, freight forwarding, and logistics services to drive revenue growth.

Responsibilities:
- Identify and develop new clients for shipping and logistics services
- Promote freight forwarding, cargo handling, and shipping solutions
- Prepare and present quotations, proposals, and service agreements
- Negotiate rates and close sales deals with clients
- Maintain strong relationships with existing customers
- Coordinate with operations and logistics teams to ensure smooth service delivery
- Monitor market trends, competitor activities, and pricing strategies
- Track shipments and provide updates to clients when necessary
- Achieve monthly and annual sales targets
- Maintain accurate records of sales activities and client interactions
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s Degree/HND in Business Administration, Logistics, or related field
- 2–4 years of experience in shipping, freight forwarding, or logistics sales
- Strong knowledge of shipping processes, documentation, and incoterms
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills
- Ability to build and maintain client relationships
- Target-driven with a strong sales mindset
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and CRM tools
- Knowledge of import/export procedures is a must
