Sales and Marketing Officer

Responsibilities:

• Develop and implement marketing strategies to increase brand awareness and attract new customers
• Identify, pursue, and convert sales leads into profitable business opportunities
• Conduct market research to understand customer needs and local trends
• Maintain strong relationships with existing clients and ensure high levels of customer satisfaction
• Collaborate with the marketing team to create campaigns, promotional materials, and events
• Track, analyze, and report sales and marketing performance metrics
• Contribute to achieving monthly, quarterly, and annual sales targets
• Represent the company professionally at community events, exhibitions, and trade fairs
• Provide feedback to management on market trends and competitor activities.
• Ability to drive with a valid driving licence will be an added advantage.

Requirements:

• B.Sc in marketing, business administration, or a related field
• A minimum of 2 years post-NYSC work experience in sales and marketing, preferably in the education sector
• Creative thinker with a passion for developing innovative marketing strategies
• Strong communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
• Proficiency in the Microsoft Office suite
• Driving skills with a valid driving licence
• Close proximity or a reasonable commuting distance to Taruni, Kano is a plus
• The position entails working alternate Saturdays per month
