Job descriptions & requirements
Responsibilities:
- Manage daily accounting and bookkeeping activities.
- Record and reconcile customer payments, expenses, petty cash, and bank transactions.
- Prepare bank reconciliations, payroll, management accounts, and monthly financial reports.
- Maintain accurate records of receivables, payables, and multi-currency transactions.
- Establish accounting procedures, reporting systems, and internal controls.
- Work with the company’s tax consultant on tax computations, filings, documentation, and compliance.
- Ensure financial records are complete, accurate, and audit-ready.
Requirements:
- B.Sc. or HND in Accounting.
- Minimum of four years’ professional accounting experience.
- Practical accounting experience in an established company is strongly preferred.
- Good knowledge of payroll, taxation, bookkeeping, bank reconciliation, and financial reporting.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and accounting software.
- Ability to work independently and take ownership of the accounting function.
- ICAN certification or active pursuit of a professional qualification is an advantage.
Location: Ikeja, Lagos
Remuneration: NGN 400,000 monthly
