Expansion Manager
Job summary
We are looking to hire an Expansion Manager (Operations). You will set up operations fast, build supply, and drive performance across new territories. This is a high-ownership role with significant field execution.
Job descriptions & requirements
- Own and execute end-to-end operational launch plans for new cities, from market assessment to go-live
- Build and implement strategies to acquire and onboard an initial courier fleet in new territories
- Establish foundational operations setup in new cities (hubs, SOPs, baseline processes, local support)
- Spend significant time on the ground during launches, solving problems as they arise
- Work cross-functionally with internal teams to ensure coordinated market entry
- Track performance and deliver structured reports on launch progress and outcomes
- 3+ years experience in operations, expansion, field execution, or marketplace/logistics operations
- Strong process-building ability in ambiguous, fast-moving environments
- Proven ownership mindset and ability to execute without heavy supervision
- Strong communication and stakeholder management skills
- Comfort using metrics to drive decisions
- Willingness to travel frequently across Nigeria (~70%)

- New city launches go live smoothly and hit performance targets quickly
- Courier supply and operational infrastructure are built quickly and sustainably
- Store teams are supported, trained, and operating consistently
- Operational issues are resolved quickly with clear escalation paths
