Job descriptions & requirements
Responsibilities:
- Act as a director-level proxy for the CEO when required
- Drive execution of strategic priorities and special initiatives
- Leverage personal and professional influence networks to unlock partnerships and opportunities
- Coordinate executive-level meetings, engagements, and follow-through
- Interface confidently with directors, government, financiers, and institutional partners
- Prepare executive briefs, strategy notes, and decision materials
- Track delivery of board-level and CEO-led initiatives
- Maintain absolute discretion and professional judgement
Requirements:
- First Class Bachelor’s Degree (mandatory)
- MBA, MSc, or equivalent postgraduate qualification – strong advantage
- 5–10+ years of experience in high-performance environments such as: CEO / Founder offices, Strategy, consulting, investment, or leadership roles
- Clear fast-track leadership trajectory with increasing responsibility
- Demonstrated influence networks across metals & minerals, industrial, financial, or socio-political spaces
- Proven ability to operate at the director and board-facing level
Executive Readiness & Mobility:
- Energetic, decisive, and execution-focused
- Highly mobile and operationally independent
- Access to a personal vehicle required during Phase I
- Available for local and international engagements at short notice
Added Advantage:
- Background in Geology, Mining Engineering, or Industrial Operations
- Multilingual (African and/or international languages)
- Exposure to Pan-African or cross-border roles
