Job summary
The Executive Driver is responsible for providing safe, secure, and professional driving services to senior executives within Nigeria. The role requires excellent knowledge of Nigerian road networks, strict adherence to traffic regulations, high confidentiality, and flexibility to support official and personal engagements.

Responsibilities:
- Safely drive the executive to and from offices, meetings, airports, official functions, and personal engagements.
- Demonstrate strong knowledge of major Nigerian roads, highways, and alternative routes within the assigned city and interstate locations.
- Monitor traffic situations, road conditions, and security concerns to ensure safe and timely travel.
- Maintain confidentiality regarding the executive’s movements, schedules, and conversations at all times.
- Ensure the assigned vehicle is clean, well-maintained, fueled, and road-worthy at all times.
- Carry out routine vehicle checks and promptly report mechanical issues or servicing needs.
- Ensure all vehicle documents are valid and up to date, including: Driver’s License, Vehicle License, Road Worthiness Certificate, Insurance (Third-Party or Comprehensive)
- Assist with luggage and provide professional courtesy when required.
- Keep accurate records of mileage, fuel usage, and maintenance schedules.
- Comply with Federal Road Safety Corps (FRSC) regulations and company policies.
- Be available for flexible working hours, including weekends, public holidays, early mornings, late nights, and out-of-town trips.
Requirements:
- Minimum of SSCE or equivalent qualification.
- Valid Nigerian Driver’s License with a clean driving record.
- Strong familiarity with traffic laws and FRSC regulations.
- Good communication skills and ability to follow instructions clearly.
- High level of discretion, honesty, and reliability.
- Physically fit and medically sound for long-distance driving.
- Preferred Skills & Attributes
- Defensive driving certification from a recognized Nigerian driving school (added advantage).
- Basic knowledge of vehicle maintenance and troubleshooting.
- Polite, respectful, well-groomed, and professional appearance.
- Ability to remain calm under pressure and handle road challenges responsibly.
Work Environment
- Corporate office or private executive setting
- May involve interstate travel
