The Key Purpose of the Ethics and Compliance Manager is a significant role in the continued implementation and improvement of the corporate compliance program. Develop initiatives to prevent, detect, investigate, and address unethical conduct. Develop training and awareness programs to drive ethical culture with employees and 3rd party partners.


Key Roles & Responsibilities:


  • Collaborate cross-functionally across the Zone to support the implementation of policies, systems, and programs that drive compliance with relevant laws, regulations, and standards.
  • Develop risk-based policies, procedures, and standards for the Zone.
  • Deliver quality investigations through effective investigation planning and case management, in accordance with investigation guidelines and procedures.
  • Develop and implement effective training and communication strategy for the Zone.
  • Maintain strong partnerships with GRM, Security, People, and Internal Control to promote transparent and quick learning from issues, challenges and identified trends.
  • Deliver robust and effective breach management process in collaboration with the legal, security, people, and global Ethics & Compliance teams.
  • Proactively use analytics to identify and mitigate compliance risks.
  • Develop and track compliance dashboards, providing monthly reports to senior leadership and quarterly reports to the BU and Zone Compliance Committees.
  • Conduct root cause analysis on identified irregularities with adequate remediation actions implemented timely and in full.
  • Proactively identify opportunities to enhance the Zone’s Ethics and Compliance program.


Minimum Requirements:


  • Professional qualification in Law, Audit, Internal Controls, Accounting or Risk Management.
  • 5 years of professional experience in Compliance, internal audit or internal control.
  • Fraud Management, risk assessment and at least 5 years doing core compliance work.
  • Strong knowledge of local, national, and international laws and compliance standards.
  • Leadership and team management ability.
  • Strong moral values and integrity.
  • Analytical thinking and problem-solving ability.
  • Good communication and negotiation skills.
