Job summary
We are seeking a knowledgeable and detail-oriented Estate Surveyor with expertise in Estate Management and Valuation to provide professional property valuation, estate management, property inspection, and real estate advisory services.

Responsibilities:
- Conduct property inspections and assess residential, commercial, industrial, and land properties.
- Carry out property valuations for sales, purchases, mortgages, insurance, investment, taxation, compensation, and other purposes.
- Conduct market research and analyze comparable property transactions, rental values, and market trends.
- Prepare detailed and accurate valuation reports in line with professional standards.
- Manage and maintain accurate records of properties, tenants, landlords, and property transactions.
- Assist with property management activities, including rent collection, lease administration, inspections, and maintenance coordination.
- Monitor property conditions and identify maintenance, repair, and improvement requirements.
- Advise clients on property values, rental rates, investment opportunities, and market conditions.
- Prepare property schedules, inspection reports, market analyses, and other professional documentation.
- Liaise with property owners, tenants, developers, investors, financial institutions, and other stakeholders.
- Assist in negotiating leases, sales, purchases, and other property transactions.
- Monitor property documentation, tenancy agreements, leases, and other relevant records.
- Conduct feasibility assessments and provide property investment advice where required.
- Ensure valuation and estate management activities comply with relevant laws, regulations, and professional standards.
- Keep up to date with property market developments, regulations, and industry trends.
- Prepare regular reports and provide professional recommendations to management or clients.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree or HND in Estate Management, Estate Surveying and Valuation, or a related field.
- Proven years of relevant experience in property valuation, estate management, or real estate consultancy.
- Strong knowledge of property valuation principles and methods.
- Good understanding of the Nigerian real estate market.
- Ability to conduct property inspections and prepare professional valuation reports.
- Strong analytical, numerical, and research skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and relevant property management or valuation tools.
- Excellent negotiation, communication, and interpersonal skills.
- Good knowledge of property laws, tenancy regulations, and real estate practices.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to work independently.
- Professional membership or registration with NIESV/ESVARBON is an added advantage.
- Valid driver's licence and willingness to travel for property inspections is an advantage.
