ERP Consultant

Responsibilities:

• Analyze business processes and identify opportunities for ERP implementation and process improvement.
• Gather and document client requirements across finance, accounting, procurement, inventory, sales, HR, operations, and other relevant functions.
• Plan, coordinate, and execute ERP implementation and deployment projects.
• Configure and customize ERP systems based on organizational requirements.
• Implement and support Sage, QuickBooks, Oracle, SAP, or other relevant ERP solutions.
• Map existing business processes and recommend appropriate ERP workflows and system configurations.
• Assist with data migration, data cleansing, validation, and system integration.
• Configure accounting structures, chart of accounts, inventory, procurement, sales, reporting, and other relevant modules.
• Conduct system testing, user acceptance testing (UAT), troubleshooting, and issue resolution.
• Develop system documentation, user guides, process manuals, and implementation reports.
• Train end users and provide post-implementation support to ensure effective system adoption.
• Work with technical teams and software vendors to resolve complex system and integration issues.
• Monitor ERP performance and recommend upgrades, enhancements, and process improvements.
• Support system upgrades, version migrations, patches, and configuration changes.
• Ensure ERP implementations comply with organizational policies, accounting standards, and relevant regulatory requirements.
• Prepare project status reports, implementation documentation, and management updates.
• Provide ongoing technical and functional support to clients after implementation.
• Maintain strong client relationships and communicate project progress, challenges, and solutions effectively.

Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree or HND in Computer Science, Information Technology, Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, Management Information Systems, or a related field.
• Proven years of relevant experience in ERP consulting, implementation, system administration, or business process consulting.
• Proven hands-on experience implementing and configuring at least one of Sage, QuickBooks, Oracle, or SAP.
• Strong understanding of accounting and business management processes.
• Experience with ERP implementation methodologies, requirements gathering, system configuration, testing, and user training.
• Knowledge of data migration, system integration, and ERP reporting.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and troubleshooting skills.
• Excellent project management and organizational abilities.
• Strong communication and client-facing skills.
• Ability to translate business requirements into practical ERP solutions.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and other business productivity tools.
• ERP certification in SAP, Oracle, Sage, or other recognized ERP platforms is an added advantage.
• Experience working across multiple ERP platforms or implementing ERP solutions for different industries is highly desirable.
