Who we are:

Dajo is an integrated energy company with business operations across the O&G ecosystem, mainly in the upstream and midstream sectors. Dajo’s core activities include EPCI services, Vessel Operations and Gas commercialisation. We are currently pursuing a growth strategy aimed at doubling our activities via strategic partnerships, acquiring new marine assets and identifying and securing new EPCI projects.


Job Summary:

The EPCI Project Manager will hold end-to-end responsibility for the delivery of assigned EPCI projects, from execution planning and engineering through procurement, construction, installation and project close-out. The role is accountable for delivery within approved scope, schedule, budget, quality, HSE and contractual requirements, and for coordinating multidisciplinary project teams throughout the lifecycle. The Ideal candidate will serve as the primary interface with clients, consultants, contractors and regulatory authorities, administer project contracts and variations, and work with the Project Controls and Cost Engineering teams to maintain cost, schedule and risk control.


Key Responsibilities:

Project Leadership & Delivery:

•        Lead the planning, execution, monitoring, and successful delivery of assigned EPCI projects.

•        Develop comprehensive project execution strategies and implementation plans aligned with project objectives.

•        Ensure project delivery within approved scope, schedule, budget, quality, HSE, and contractual requirements.

•        Coordinate multidisciplinary engineering, procurement, construction, and installation teams throughout the project lifecycle.

•        Monitor project progress and implement corrective actions to address schedule, cost, and execution risks.

Contract & Commercial Management:

•        Administer project contracts and ensure compliance with contractual obligations.

•        Review and manage contract variations, claims, change orders, and commercial risks.

•        Support commercial negotiations with clients, contractors, vendors, and project stakeholders.

•        Ensure efficient utilization of project resources while maintaining commercial performance.

Stakeholder & Client Management:

•        Serve as the primary interface between the company, clients, consultants, contractors, and regulatory authorities.

•        Build and maintain strong client relationships throughout project execution.

•        Facilitate project meetings and provide regular updates on project performance, risks, and mitigation strategies.


Project Controls:

•        Monitor project costs, budgets, forecasts, and cash flow in collaboration with the Project Controls and Cost Engineering teams.

•        Ensure project schedules are properly developed, maintained, and monitored.

•        Drive effective risk management by identifying project risks and implementing mitigation measures.

HSE & Quality Management:

•        Champion compliance with HSE policies, statutory regulations, and industry best practices.

•        Ensure quality assurance and quality control requirements are fully implemented throughout project execution.

•        Promote a strong safety culture across all project activities.

Leadership & Team Management:

•        Provide leadership, direction, coaching, and technical guidance to project personnel.

•        Foster collaboration across engineering, procurement, construction, commissioning, and support teams.

•        Monitor team performance and ensure delivery against project objectives.


Experience & Qualifications:

•        Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical, Civil, Electrical, Chemical, Petroleum, or a related Engineering discipline.

•        Minimum of 10 years’ progressive experience managing EPCI projects within the oil and gas industry.

•        Proven experience delivering complex engineering, procurement, construction, and installation projects within the oil and gas Industry is mandatory.

•        Demonstrated experience managing multidisciplinary project teams.

•        Strong understanding of project planning, execution, contract administration, procurement, construction management, and project controls is mandatory.

•        Experience managing project schedules, budgets, risks, and commercial performance.

•        PMP Certification is required.

•        COREN registration and membership of the Nigerian Society of Engineers (NSE) is required.
