Paperclip Editing provides exceptional writing, editing, and translation services to elevate our clients' communication. We are a collaborative platform driven by a diverse community of experts dedicated to delivering superior results. We are seeking a driven and innovative Entrepreneur in Residence (EIR) to join our dynamic team. This role offers a unique opportunity to explore new business avenues, develop strategic growth initiatives, and shape the future of Paperclip Editing. We are seeking an entrepreneur with a strong background in the writing, editing, and/or translation industry. As the Paperclip Entrepreneur in Residence, you would leverage your experience and network to explore and create new business opportunities at Paperclip.

Job Description/Requirements
Responsibilities:
- New Venture Creation: Identify and explore new market opportunities in the writing, editing, and language services industries. Develop and launch products/services to complement our existing offerings.
- Business Strategy & Innovation: Collaborate with the leadership team to refine the company's strategic direction and identify avenues for sustainable growth.
- Client Acquisition & Marketing: Devise innovative strategies to attract new clients, expand our client base, and increase brand awareness.
- Data-Driven Optimization: Analyze performance metrics to identify areas for improvement and enhance operational efficiency.
- Industry & Technology Trends: Stay ahead of the curve by researching trends in language services, technology, and related industries, proposing ways to adopt them into our business model.
Qualifications:
- Demonstrated entrepreneurial success, ideally within the language services (or similar knowledge-based) industry.
- Excellent understanding of writing, editing, and/or translation markets with a keen eye for emerging opportunities.
- Strong business acumen with a track record of strategic thinking and execution.
- A creative mindset focused on innovation and problem-solving.
- Ability to work both independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
- Bonus: Experience in marketing, sales, or customer acquisition in service-oriented businesses.
