Role Description

This is a volunteer role for an experienced Email Marketing Specialist who is passionate about teaching and sharing what they know. As a Volunteer Tutor, you will guide a community of eager, growth-minded marketers through the practical realities of email marketing — from foundational concepts to advanced execution. Your responsibilities include leading sessions on campaign creation, automation strategies, deliverability best practices, segmentation, and performance analysis. You will also collaborate with the MTJE team to shape learning content, structure training experiences, and ensure members leave each session with skills they can apply immediately.

Qualifications

Hands-on experience in email marketing, with a genuine interest in teaching and knowledge-sharing

∙
Strong grasp of campaign strategy, marketing analytics, and what it actually takes to improve results

∙
Familiarity with lead generation, automation workflows, and email deliverability principles

∙
Comfortable breaking down complex concepts for learners at different skill levels

∙
Strong communication skills and the ability to engage and hold a room — whether in person or online

∙
Experience with B2B and B2C campaigns, and proficiency with content creation or email marketing tools, is a plus
