ELV Technician
Job summary
The ELV (Extra-Low Voltage) Technician is responsible for the installation, testing, commissioning, maintenance, troubleshooting, and repair of extra-low voltage systems such as fire alarm systems, smoke detectors, and and access control panels.
Job descriptions & requirements
- Perform daily maintenance on electrical / Extra low voltage systems, including CCTV cameras, Smoke detectors, public address systems, and access control.
- Diagnose, troubleshoot, and repair faults in fire alarm systems across various brands and models, ensuring optimal system performance and minimal downtime.
- Prepare accurate inspection, maintenance, and service reports, documenting system conditions, findings, corrective actions, and compliance status.
- Respond promptly to emergency service requests and system failures, providing timely resolutions to restore fire protection functionality.
- Candidates should possess at least an HND / OND qualification in Electrical and Electronics Engineering or a trade test.
- 3 - 5 years’ experience as an ELV maintenance technician in the facility management sector is preferred.
- Proficient in working with various fire alarm panel brands like SIMPLEX, CHEMITRON, KIDDIE, and FM200 Systems.
