Job summary
We are seeking a skilled and proactive ELV Technician to install, troubleshoot, maintain, and support a wide range of Electronic Low Voltage (ELV) systems. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience with surveillance systems, fire alarm systems, burglar alarm systems, smart home solutions, and related security technologies.

Responsibilities:
- Install, configure, test, and maintain CCTV surveillance systems.
- Install and troubleshoot fire alarm systems, intrusion/burglar alarm systems, and access control systems.
- Install and support smart home automation systems.
- Perform routine inspections, preventive maintenance, and fault diagnosis on ELV systems.
- Troubleshoot hardware, software, network, and connectivity issues affecting security systems.
- Conduct system commissioning and ensure installations meet industry standards and client requirements.
- Prepare technical reports, maintenance records, and service documentation.
- Provide technical support and user training to clients when required.
- Stay updated on emerging technologies and industry best practices in security, networking, and smart automation.
Requirements:
- Minimum of an OND or equivalent qualification in Electrical/Electronic Engineering, Computer Engineering, Information Technology, or a related field.
- Proven experience in ELV system installation and maintenance.
- Hands-on experience with:
- CCTV Surveillance Systems
- Fire Alarm Systems
- Burglar/Intrusion Alarm Systems
- Access Control Systems
- Smart Home Automation Systems
- Possession of at least one relevant professional certification such as:
- CCTV Certification
- RAV (Remote Audio Video) Certification
- Security Systems Certification
- Networking Certification (e.g., CompTIA Network+, Cisco CCNA, MikroTik, or equivalent)
- Good understanding of IP networking, structured cabling, and system integration.
- Ability to read technical drawings, schematics, and installation plans.
- Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
- Good communication and customer service skills.
Preferred Requirements:
- Knowledge of NVR, DVR, IP cameras, and video management systems.
- Experience with network configuration and troubleshooting.
- Familiarity with smart home technologies and IoT devices.
- Ability to work independently and within a team.
