Electrician

Responsibilities:

• Install, maintain, and repair electrical wiring, lighting systems, sockets, switches, and other electrical fittings.
  
• Diagnose electrical faults and carry out appropriate repairs.
  
• Inspect electrical installations and equipment to identify potential hazards and faults.
  
• Conduct routine preventive maintenance on electrical systems and equipment.
  
• Install and maintain electrical panels, circuit breakers, and distribution boards.
  
• Test electrical systems to ensure they function correctly and safely.
  
• Respond promptly to electrical breakdowns and emergencies.
  
• Ensure all electrical work complies with applicable safety standards and regulations.
  
• Maintain records of electrical maintenance, repairs, and installations.
  
• Identify electrical materials and tools required for maintenance and repair work.
  
• Work with other technical and maintenance personnel to resolve electrical issues.
  
• Ensure proper handling and use of electrical tools and equipment.

Requirements:

• Minimum of 2–3 years' proven experience as an Electrician.
  
• Relevant technical certification, trade test certificate, or vocational training in electrical installation and maintenance.
  
• Good knowledge of electrical wiring, installations, troubleshooting, and repairs.
  
• Ability to read and interpret electrical drawings and wiring diagrams.
  
• Familiarity with electrical testing tools and equipment.
  
• Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
  
• Good communication and teamwork skills.
  
• Must be safety-conscious, reliable, and able to work independently.
