Electrical Technician

Responsibilities:

• Perform installation, routine maintenance, and repairs on power control systems, lighting systems, electrical panels, and other building electrical components.
• Accurately troubleshoot and diagnose electrical malfunctions, effectively interpreting technical diagrams and engineering drawings.
• Install and configure safety and distribution components, including switches, resistors, and circuit-breaker panels.
• Execute maintenance and repair tasks for kitchen and laundry equipment, involving component inspection and replacement of faulty parts.
• Inspect, maintain, and ensure the optimal performance of smoke detectors, fire alarm systems, and related safety equipment.

Requirements:

• Minimum of an Ordinary National Diploma (OND) or Higher National Diploma (HND) in Electrical Engineering, or an equivalent Trade Test certification in Electrical.
• A minimum of 3 years of proven experience as an Electrician, with a strong focus on electrical maintenance.
• Demonstrated ability to troubleshoot and repair complex electrical systems independently.
• Physical stamina and the ability to handle electrical equipment and work extended hours on installation or maintenance sites as required.
