Job summary
We are seeking a skilled and motivated Electrical Engineer (Renewable Energy) with experience or a strong interest in renewable energy systems. The successful candidate will be responsible for the design, installation, testing, commissioning, and maintenance of solar and other renewable energy solutions for residential, commercial, and industrial clients.

Job descriptions & requirements
Responsibilities:
- Design, size, and optimize solar PV and other renewable energy systems.
- Conduct site surveys and energy assessments.
- Prepare electrical drawings, single-line diagrams, and technical documentation.
- Supervise the installation, testing, and commissioning of renewable energy systems.
- Perform preventive and corrective maintenance on installed systems.
- Diagnose and resolve electrical and system faults.
- Ensure all installations comply with safety standards, industry regulations, and company policies.
- Prepare project reports and provide technical support to clients.
- Collaborate with project teams to ensure timely and quality project delivery.
- Stay updated on renewable energy technologies and industry best practices.
Requirements:
- Minimum of an HND in Electrical Engineering or a related discipline.
- Minimum of 2 years’ experience in renewable energy, solar PV installation, or electrical engineering.
- Strong knowledge of solar PV systems, inverters, batteries, and electrical installations.
- Ability to read and interpret electrical drawings and technical specifications.
- Strong analytical and troubleshooting skills.
- Good communication and teamwork abilities.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office; knowledge of electrical design software is an added advantage.
- A valid driver’s licence is an added advantage.
Remuneration: NGN 200,000 – 300,000 per month (depending on qualifications and experience)
