Responsibilities:
- Inspecting and assessing the work done by the electrical staff.
- Perform electrical equipment repairs and maintenance, execute electrical works at the plant, and provide progress updates upon completion.
- Overseeing the purchase of electrical equipment on-site.
- Designing and implementing work schedules for the electrical staff.
- Install, test, and verify electrical equipment and systems, ensuring compliance with operating and safety standards.
- Stopping the installation or use of any electrical equipment considered to be hazardous and reporting to the operations manager any situation that may compromise site safety.
- Evaluating systems’ safety, reliability, and performance.
- Ensure that installations and applications are in line with customer needs and safety standards.
- Work as a shift operator to run the generating engines at Fedikore’s various Sites
- Safeguard the company's electrical equipment and property, and oversee electrical maintenance activities at the plant.
- To perform routine inspection and preventive/ reactive maintenance on all electrical plant tools, equipment, and machinery.
- Monitor and review the schedule and delivery of all electrical equipment, tools, and supplies to the plant.
Requirements:
- Minimum of HND.
- 5 years of previous experience in a similar role.
