Job descriptions & requirements
Responsibilities:
- Design, develop, and supervise electrical systems and installations.
- Conduct inspections, testing, and maintenance of electrical equipment.
- Prepare technical drawings, specifications, reports, and project documentation.
- Troubleshoot and resolve electrical faults and system issues.
- Ensure compliance with electrical codes, safety standards, and regulatory requirements.
- Collaborate with project managers, contractors, and other engineering professionals.
- Monitor project schedules, budgets, and resource allocation.
- Evaluate system performance and recommend improvements where necessary.
- Provide technical support during project planning and execution.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's Degree or HND in Electrical Engineering or a related field.
- Minimum of 4 years of relevant electrical engineering experience.
- Proficiency in AutoCAD, ETAP, MATLAB, or other relevant engineering software is an advantage.
- Strong knowledge of electrical systems, power distribution, and safety regulations.
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
- Ability to manage multiple tasks and work effectively under deadlines.
- Professional certification or registration is an added advantage.
