Electrical Engineer

Responsibilities:

• Design and oversee the installation of electrical systems, wiring, lighting, and power distribution in residential and commercial buildings.

• Prepare technical drawings, specifications, and electrical layouts in line with project requirements.

• Inspect and test electrical systems to ensure functionality, safety, and compliance with regulations.

• Coordinate with architects, mechanical engineers, and other construction professionals to ensure seamless project execution.

• Supervise contractors and technicians on-site to ensure adherence to plans and safety standards.

• Diagnose and resolve electrical faults, ensuring minimal downtime.
• Estimate electrical project costs, materials, and timelines.
Recommend energy-efficient systems and innovative electrical solutions.

• Maintain accurate documentation of installations, maintenance, and inspections.

• Support facility management in maintaining existing electrical systems in company properties.


Requirements:

• Minimum of B.Eng. / HND in Electrical or Electronic Engineering from a recognised institution.
• Minimum of 3–5 years of experience in electrical engineering, preferably in the real estate or construction industry.
• Proficient in reading and interpreting electrical drawings and blueprints.
• Strong knowledge of electrical codes, safety standards, and building regulations.
• Hands-on experience with electrical installations, maintenance, and troubleshooting.
• Proficiency in AutoCAD or other electrical design software is an advantage.
• Excellent communication, teamwork, and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to work under pressure and meet project deadlines.
• Must reside within or around Lekki / Ajah / Victoria Island (preferred).
