Job descriptions & requirements
Responsibilities:
- Plan and deliver engaging lessons in line with the approved curriculum, teaching assigned subjects effectively to promote students' academic development.
- Assess students through tests, assignments, examinations, and continuous assessment, as well as monitoring their progress and providing academic support where necessary.
- Maintain effective classroom management and discipline, prepare students for WAEC, NECO, and other external examinations, and keep accurate academic records and reports.
- Active participation in staff meetings, school activities, and professional development, alongside close collaboration with colleagues and management to achieve the school's overall goals.
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree (B.Ed., B.Sc., B.A., or equivalent) in the relevant discipline.
- Minimum of 2 years’ teaching experience.
- Strong knowledge of the relevant subject area.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Strong classroom management skills.
- Good knowledge of lesson planning and student assessment.
- Ability to prepare students for external examinations.
- Basic ICT and modern teaching skills.
- Professionalism, integrity, commitment, and passion for teaching.
- PGDE and TRCN certification are added advantages.
