Early Years Teacher

Responsibilities:

• This is a positive relationship between the teacher and the student in efforts to gain trust and respect from each other.
• This relationship may consist of getting to know your students better, providing choice and encouraging the students to become stronger learners everyday.

Requirements:

• The teachers MUST have 5 - 10 Yrs teaching experience in a similar environment at the Nursery school level
• You will have the opportunity to teach and inspire children from diverse backgrounds, helping them develop their social, emotional, cognitive, and physical skills
  
• Knowledge of child development principles and best practices in early childhood education
  
• Create and deliver engaging and interactive lessons plan that align with the school's curriculum guidelines
  
• Provide individualized attention and support to students, promoting a positive and inclusive learning environment
• Assess student progress and performance through a variety of methods, such as exams, projects, and presentations
  
• Collaborate with colleagues to develop and implement innovative teaching strategies.
  
• Foster a positive and inclusive learning environment that promotes academic growth and personal development
  
• Deliver engaging and interactive lessons that cater to various learning styles
  
• Assess student progress and provide regular feedback on their academic performance
  
• Collaborate with colleagues to develop and evaluate educational materials and resources
  
• Support students in their social and emotional well-being
  
• Maintain accurate and up-to-date student records and attendance
  
• Communicate regularly and effectively with students' parents or guardians regarding their academic progress and development
  
• Participate in staff meetings, professional development workshops, and school events
  
• Maintain accurate and up-to-date student records and grades
  
• Strong organizational, time management, Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  
• Proficiency in English (additional language proficiency is a plus)
  
• Good understanding of cultural differences and willingness to navigate and embrace diversity

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Early Childhood Education or a related field
• International Teaching certification or license
• Proven 5 - 10 years Experience working with young children in an educational setting

Remuneration: NGN 200,000 - 500,000 Depending on Experience.
