Product Manager
Job summary
We are seeking a highly technical and hands-on E-Banking App Product Manager to own the performance, stability, and continuous improvement of mobile and digital banking applications. This role is ideal for a candidate with strong experience in banking or fintech in Nigeria who understands digital payment systems and regulatory requirements.

Responsibilities:
Product & Technical Ownership:
- Take full ownership of the mobile banking app lifecycle, including performance, uptime, reliability,
- and user experience.
- Work closely with engineering teams to debug, diagnose, and resolve application issues (crashes,
- transaction failures, latency issues).
- Translate technical issues into actionable product improvements and priorities.
App Performance Monitoring & Reporting:
- Define and track key performance metrics (e.g., app uptime, transaction success rate, latency,
- crash rates).
- Monitor app performance using analytics and observability tools.
- Provide regular performance reports to senior management with insights and recommendations.
- Proactively identify trends, risks, and system vulnerabilities.
Incident & Issue Management:
- Lead resolution of critical incidents and customer-impacting issues.
- Coordinate cross-functional teams to ensure fast root cause analysis and fixes.
- Maintain structured issue tracking and ensure proper documentation.
- Implement processes to prevent issue recurrence.
Stakeholder Collaboration:
- Act as the bridge between business, operations, and engineering teams.
- Gather feedback from customer support, operations, and end users to identify recurring product
- issues.
- Align product improvements with business goals and regulatory requirements.
Regulatory & Compliance Awareness:
- Ensure the app complies with CBN regulations, security standards, and data protection
- requirements.
- Work with compliance teams to address risks in digital banking operations.
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Engineering, Information Systems, or related field.
- Minimum 3 years of experience in product management, preferably within: Digital banking, Fintech, or Payment platforms.
- Strong understanding of the Nigerian financial services ecosystem (e.g., NIBSS, switching, payments, transfers).
- Experience working with mobile applications (iOS/Android) and backend systems.
- Hands-on experience with: Application monitoring tools (e.g., Firebase, Datadog, New Relic, etc.),
- Issue tracking tools (e.g., Jira, Azure DevOps)
- Ability to analyze logs, metrics, and system performance data.
