Job summary
We are seeking a skilled and responsible Drone Pilot (UAV Operator) to operate drones for aerial photography, videography, surveying, inspection, and monitoring tasks. The ideal candidate must have strong flying skills, safety awareness, and experience operating drones in different environments across Nigeria.

Job descriptions & requirements
Responsibilities:
- Operate UAVs for land surveying, mapping, and aerial data collection
- Plan and execute drone missions using waypoint and automated flight plans
- Conduct pre-flight, in-flight, and post-flight checks to ensure safe operations
- Capture high-resolution imagery and data for orthomosaic maps, 3D models, and terrain analysis
- Work closely with surveyors and engineers to meet accuracy and project requirements
- Ensure full compliance with NCAA regulations and company safety procedures
- Monitor weather conditions and assess site risks before flights
- Maintain drone equipment, batteries, and accessories in good working condition
- Process, organize, and submit collected survey data for analysis
- Maintain accurate flight logs, reports, and project documentation
Requirements:
- Minimum 3 years’ experience operating drones for surveying, mapping, or geospatial data collection
- NCAA Remote Pilot Certification or equivalent authorization to operate drones commercially in Nigeria
- Strong understanding of drone flight operations, safety protocols, and airspace regulations
- Experience with surveying and mapping software such as Pix4D, DroneDeploy, Agisoft, ArcGIS, or AutoCAD
- Knowledge of topographic surveys, land mapping, and geospatial data processing
- Excellent attention to detail, problem-solving, and organizational skills
- Ability to work outdoors in varied environmental conditions
- Strong communication skills and ability to collaborate with surveyors, engineers, and clients
