Job descriptions & requirements
Responsibilities:
- Safely transport company staff, documents, equipment and materials to designated locations.
- Ensure timely pick-up and drop-off of staff and other authorised passengers.
- Maintain the assigned vehicle in a clean, safe and roadworthy condition.
- Conduct routine checks on tyres, oil, water, brakes and other vehicle components.
- Report vehicle faults, maintenance needs and accidents promptly.
- Maintain accurate records of trips, fuel usage, mileage and vehicle maintenance.
- Comply with all traffic laws, company policies and health and safety requirements.
Requirements:
- Minimum of SSCE/WAEC or equivalent.
- Valid Nigerian driver's licence.
- Minimum of 2 years' professional driving experience, preferably in a corporate environment.
- Good knowledge of Lagos routes and major roads.
- Safe driving record and strong knowledge of traffic regulations.
- Basic knowledge of vehicle maintenance and troubleshooting.
- Good communication and interpersonal skills.
- Punctual, reliable, responsible and trustworthy.
- Ability to maintain confidentiality and exercise good judgment.
- Willingness to work flexible hours when required.
