Job Summary

The Driver will be responsible for safely transporting the CEO professionally. This role requires excellent driving skills, good knowledge of road safety regulations, and familiarity with routes within and outside the city. Candidate must demonstrate reliability, strong attention to detail, & commitment to vehicle maintenance

Job Description/Requirements

Responsibilities:

Safely drive the company CEO to and from assigned destinations.
Maintain the assigned vehicle in good condition — clean, serviced, and roadworthy.
Conduct routine checks on vehicle oil, water, battery, brakes, and tyres.
Ensure all vehicle documents (licence, insurance, registration, etc.) are valid and up to date.
Keep accurate records of vehicle mileage, fuel usage, and travel logs.
Follow all traffic laws, safety procedures, and company transport policies.
Report any vehicle defects, accidents, or delays promptly to the supervisor.
Assist with loading and unloading of materials or deliveries when required.
Plan routes and anticipate traffic or road issues to ensure timely arrival.
Maintain confidentiality and professionalism when interacting with staff and clients.

Requirements:

Minimum of SSCE or equivalent qualification.
Valid driver’s licence, LASDRI and clean driving record.
A minimum of 2 years of professional driving experience (corporate preferred).
Good knowledge of Lagos roads and major routes.
Ability to perform basic vehicle maintenance and troubleshooting.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
Punctual, trustworthy, and safety conscious.
