Job descriptions & requirements
Responsibilities:
- Safely transport company staff, management, clients, and visitors to designated locations.
- Deliver and collect documents, parcels, equipment, and other company items as assigned.
- Ensure timely pick-up and drop-off in accordance with scheduled assignments.
- Conduct daily vehicle inspections to ensure roadworthiness and report any faults or maintenance requirements promptly.
- Maintain the cleanliness, safety, and overall condition of the assigned vehicle.
- Ensure the vehicle is serviced according to the recommended maintenance schedule.
- Keep accurate records of trips, mileage, fuel consumption, maintenance, and repairs.
- Verify that all vehicle documentation (driver's licence, insurance, vehicle licence, roadworthiness certificate, etc.) is current and valid.
- Obey all traffic laws, road safety regulations, and company driving policies.
- Plan efficient travel routes to minimize delays and optimize fuel usage.
- Assist with loading and unloading items where necessary.
- Report accidents, incidents, vehicle damage, or traffic violations to management immediately.
- Maintain confidentiality regarding company information and activities encountered during official assignments.
- Ensure the security of passengers, company property, and transported items.
Requirements:
- A minimum of 2 years of experience
- A minimum of a BSc.
