Job summary
The Driver and Truck Crane Operator is responsible for safely driving heavy-duty vehicles equipped with crane systems and operating the crane to lift, move, and position materials at construction sites. The role ensures efficient transport and safe lifting operations in compliance with project specifications and safety standards.

Responsibilities:
- Drive a truck-mounted crane to and from construction sites.
- Operate the crane to lift, move, load, and unload heavy materials and equipment.
- Set up the crane properly, including deploying outriggers and ensuring stability.
- Inspect lifting gear such as slings, hooks, and chains before use.
- Follow lifting plans, load charts, and site instructions.
- Communicate with riggers, signalers, and site supervisors during lifting operations.
- Ensure loads are properly secured before lifting or transporting.
- Conduct pre-operation and post-operation inspections of the truck and crane.
- Perform basic maintenance (lubrication, cleaning, fueling).
- Identify and report mechanical faults or safety issues.
- Maintain accurate records of operations and deliveries.
- Comply strictly with all health, safety, and environmental (HSE) regulations.
Requirements:
- Valid heavy-duty driver’s license.
- Verifiable certifications
- Proven experience operating a truck-mounted crane.
- Knowledge of crane load charts and lifting procedures.
- Basic mechanical knowledge of trucks and crane systems.
- Ability to understand site signals and lifting instructions.
- Good physical fitness and coordination.
