Driver

Responsibilities:

• Safely transport the employer, family members, or other designated individuals to their destinations.
• Ensure timely pick-up and drop-off according to schedules.
• Maintain a good knowledge of Lagos roads and alternative routes to avoid traffic delays.
• Keep the vehicle clean, neat, and in excellent working condition.
• Conduct routine vehicle inspections and report any mechanical issues promptly.
• Monitor fuel levels, engine oil, tyre pressure, and other essential vehicle components.
• Ensure all vehicle documents, including insurance and roadworthiness certificates, are up to date.
• Comply with traffic laws and road safety regulations at all times.
• Run errands and perform other driving-related duties as assigned.
• Maintain confidentiality and handle the employer’s belongings responsibly.
• Report accidents, delays, vehicle faults, or other incidents promptly

Requirements:

• Valid Nigerian driver’s licence.
• Previous experience as a professional or personal driver.
• Good knowledge of Lagos roads, routes, and traffic patterns.
• Excellent driving skills and knowledge of road safety regulations.
• Ability to identify basic vehicle faults and perform routine vehicle checks.
• Good communication and interpersonal skills.
• Punctual, honest, disciplined, and trustworthy.
• Neat appearance and a professional attitude.
• Ability to follow instructions and work with minimal supervision.
• Willingness to reside in the employer’s home.
• Good time-management skills and attention to detail.
• A defensive driving certificate or relevant training is an added advantage.
