Job descriptions & requirements
Responsibilities:
- Adhere to all traffic laws, speed limits, and seatbelt regulations. Avoid impaired driving and distractions.
- Perform daily, pre-trip, and post-trip inspections. Check fluid levels, tire pressure, and brakes. Ensure the vehicle is clean, organized, and fueled.
- Plan efficient routes using navigation tools. Transport passengers or cargo securely and on time.
- Maintain accurate records, including mileage, fuel consumption, and, if required, driver logs. Immediately report accidents, damage, or needed repairs.
- Act professionally, assist with loading/unloading cargo, and help passengers as needed.
Requirements:
- Minimum of S.S.C.E qualification with relevant experience.
- Must possess a valid driver's license.
- Must possess good experience in commercial driving.
- Candidates living within the Awoyaya & Majek Axis of Lagos Island are preferred.
