Responsibilities:
- Drive company vehicles to transport passengers, goods, or equipment
- Plan routes and ensure timely arrivals and deliveries
- Inspect vehicles before and after trips to ensure roadworthiness
- Maintain vehicle cleanliness and basic maintenance (fuel, oil, tire pressure)
- Follow traffic laws, safety regulations, and company procedures
- Keep accurate records of trips, mileage, fuel consumption, and deliveries
- Report accidents, delays, or vehicle issues immediately
- Assist with loading and unloading cargo when necessary
- Maintain a professional demeanor with clients and passengers
Requirements:
- Valid driver’s license appropriate for the vehicle type
- Proven experience as a professional driver is an advantage
- Knowledge of local roads, traffic laws, and safe driving practices
- Basic mechanical knowledge for minor vehicle troubleshooting
- Reliability, punctuality, and a strong sense of responsibility
- Good communication and record-keeping skills
