Driver

Responsibilities:

• Safely drive company vehicles to transport staff, goods, and materials as assigned.
• Ensure the vehicle is always in good working condition through regular checks and maintenance.
• Keep accurate records of vehicle mileage, fuel consumption, and trip details.
• Adhere strictly to traffic rules, road safety regulations, and company driving policies.
• Promptly report any vehicle faults, accidents, or incidents to the supervisor.
• Assist in loading and unloading goods or materials when required.
• Perform any other related duties as assigned by management.

Requirements:

• Minimum of SSCE/OND or equivalent qualification.
• Minimum of 3–5 years of proven driving experience in a reputable organization.
• Must possess a valid driver’s license.
• Excellent knowledge of road safety regulations, traffic laws, and defensive driving techniques.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills for interacting with staff and clients respectfully.
• Good vehicle maintenance knowledge—capable of detecting faults and reporting mechanical issues promptly.
• Record-keeping skills for documenting mileage, fuel usage, and trip logs.
• Ability to follow instructions and adhere to company policies.
• Punctual, reliable, and physically fit to handle long-distance or extended driving hours.
• Must have a clean driving record with no history of major traffic violations.
• Familiarity with Lagos local routes.
• Must reside in Lagos Island.
• Must demonstrate a high level of integrity, discipline, and safety consciousness.
• Willingness to work flexible hours, including weekends or overtime when required.
