Document Controller
Job summary
The Document Controller is responsible for managing, organizing, and maintaining company documents to ensure accuracy, quality, and integrity. The role involves controlling the flow of documents within an organization, ensuring proper filing, tracking, and retrieval in line with company procedures and compliance standards.

Responsibilities:
- Manage and maintain document control systems (electronic and hard copy).
- Ensure proper document numbering, formatting, and filing.
- Receive, register, and distribute incoming and outgoing documents.
- Maintain updated records of all approved documents and drawings.
- Ensure document revisions are properly tracked and controlled.
- Archive outdated documents in accordance with company policies.
- Coordinate with departments to ensure the timely submission of required documentation.
- Ensure compliance with regulatory and quality standards.
- Prepare reports on document status when required.
- Maintain confidentiality of sensitive documents.
Requirements:
- Minimum of OND/HND/Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration, Engineering, or related field.
- Proven experience as a Document Controller or in an administrative role (1–3 years preferred).
- Strong knowledge of document management systems.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
- Good organizational and time-management skills.
- Strong attention to detail.
- Excellent communication skills.
- Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
