Job descriptions & requirements
Responsibilities:
- Transport items to designated locations within specified timeframes.
- Adhere to all traffic laws, road safety regulations, and Health, Safety, and Environment (HSE) policies.
- Perform daily inspections on the motorcycle (fuel, oil, brakes, tire pressure) and ensure it is clean and serviced.
- Keep accurate records of all deliveries (logbooks/digital tracking) and obtain proof of delivery or signatures.
- Coordinate with dispatchers, office staff, or clients regarding delivery status, delays, or issues.
- Use GPS or local knowledge to plan the fastest and safest routes to minimize delays.
- Ensure the secure handling and confidentiality of all sensitive documents and packages.
Requirements:
- Minimum of 1–2 years of riding experience.
- Must possess a valid Rider’s Permit.
- Strong familiarity with Abuja routes and proficiency in using Google.
- Candidates must reside within or close to Kubwa or the surrounding Building Materials Market area.
- Provision of two (2) credible guarantors is mandatory.
- High level of reliability, discipline, and commitment to professional conduct.
